TERM 3 REFLECTION

This term was a really good term for me because I have learnt how to take notes properly when lessening and reading. I used to thing that taking notes was basely writing everything down or writing full sentence, but you only need to write down the important things like for instants:  One tongue has 2,000 taste buds, you would only write down the important thing like 2,000 taste buds because if you were writing about tongues with that tiny bit of information to know will know that One tongue has 2,000 taste buds. I learnt this from my literary group with Mrs Akkermen.

Another thing that I have learnt is how to simplify fractions so it makes it easier to work out the answer fast and easier.  I used to work out a fractions the longer and harder way but know I can finger out the snappy fast.  I didn't get it at first but then when I went to my 2nd workshop on it I got it and know how to simplify fractions here is one:27/36 then you divided that by 3=9/12 you can still go lower so you divided that by 3= 3/4 and that's you simplified fraction.

Week 9 reelection

This week Karaka my literacy group got set up on descriptive  writing.
First we looked into the diffident language features, then got given a writing model and we had to find the personification in the poem, personification is when you descriptive a none living thing with something that a living thing can do like, the snake smiled in victory. We also use more language features like alliteration, onomatopoeia and emotive language. I feel I'm better a descriptive writing, and I have learnt and I will not forget when and were I should put language features.

2017 writing goal Reflection

My writing goal is to revise and edit my writing. I think I have proved that I can do that in my speech about BAD FOOD.

The strategy that  helped me where word hippo to find better words, I also reread my speech thousands of times bye myself and to a buddy, I pick up some things that I could have changed and  fond better words. I said My speech to lots of diffident people and I got lot of good feed back and I could see what they were pointing out and then  I changed it.

I used to just write and then I thought that I was done, put now I know that once you've finished your draft then you have to reread it many time to make sore that it makes since and edit it so that you have no spelling mistakes.
